Daniel joined LawDeb from PwC where he acted as Head of Trustee Services from 2013. In this role, Daniel was responsible for managing the Trustee boards and committees of the firm’s DB Schemes and was also a member of the firm’s DC governance committee.

Prior to this, Daniel was Company Secretary and Chief Legal Adviser for the Tetley Group and subsequently Tata Global Beverages. Whilst at Tata he became a company-nominated trustee of the firm’s DB scheme and was twice elected as a member representative of the firm’s DC steering committee.

Daniel has a track record of driving major improvements in scheme governance. As well as a strong legal and governance skillset, Daniel is a strategic thinker who builds good working relationships with sponsors and other stakeholders. He has a collaborative and yet commercial approach to managing advisers and suppliers.

Daniel is a qualified solicitor who holds an MA in Law from Oxford University as well as the PMI Award in Pensions Trusteeship. He is an Advisory Council member of trustee liability insurer, OPDU.
