LawDeb Pension Trustees continues to add to its trustee team
26 March 2018
This month LawDeb Pension Trustees welcomed new Trustee Director Edward Levy.
Edward joins from Aviva plc where over 11 years he has held senior executive roles with a focus on strategy. As Group Strategic Projects Director, Edward gained detailed knowledge of the insurance, pensions and asset management markets in the UK and the trends that influence their future development. Combined with his early career as a consulting actuary for pension schemes, this gives him an in-depth understanding of the challenges faced by pension schemes in the UK today.
This combination of strategic thinking and breadth of experience across financial services makes Edward a great fit for LawDeb Pension Trustees where our focus is on delivering the best outcomes for pension scheme stakeholders, both members and sponsors.
Of Edward’s appointment Michael Chatterton, LawDeb Pension Trustees’ Managing Director said
“Edward’s experience of strategic thinking and delivery will no doubt be an asset to our clients who are looking for functional and innovative ways to deliver on their pension promises. Edward joins a commercially-minded team where his experience of working for large UK organisations will benefit us all. We are excited to welcome Edward to the team and to be able to tap in to his experience.”
Prior to joining Aviva, Edward worked at Abbey National plc and Lloyds TSB Group. His early pensions experience came from roles at William M Mercer Fraser Ltd and Punter Southall Kerr & Co which he joined at the firm’s inception in 1988.
Edward has an MA from Cambridge University and an MBA from London Business School.
