LawDeb Pension Trustees has unrivalled experience of working with trustee boards and with governance committees in non-trust based arrangements. We offer to share this experience to help trustees review their effectiveness and governance, whether or not we have been appointed as an independent trustee.
Examples of how we can help include:
Our Essentials guide to Trustee Self-Assessment has been widely used by Trustees. It asks the questions that we think are important and helpful in assessing effectiveness and governance. It also provides practical suggestions for consideration; allowing the trustees to assess their own pension scheme. We are willing to comment on the results of the assessment and use our experience to help.
LawDeb Pension Trustees can assist by designing and facilitating tailored governance and effectiveness reviews to offer suggestions from the breadth of our experience as to how the trustees might improve their operational arrangements. This would typically involve on-line questionnaires, face-to-face interviews and a presentation back to the board.
We also offer other services which help employees and trustees, such as scheme secretary services, or where an employer wants to minimise trustee costs for a closed scheme we offer the option of a sole professional trustee.
Numerous guides from our Essentials series are available for our clients.
