Our back-to-school drinks events

The LawDeb team were delighted to host so many lawyers and legal professionals, from across 50 different firms, at our annual alfresco late summer drinks event. This is always a highlight in the LawDeb calendar. Every year we welcome peers from across our legal network to join us for a relaxed evening, catching up with former colleagues and those usually on the other side of the table.

Our hosting team came from across our businesses: Corporate Secretarial Services, Corporate Trust, Pensions, Safecall, Service of Process and Structured Finance. Each of these teams work closely with lawyers on a daily basis, providing a fantastic range of services.

We look forward to hosting similar events in Manchester, Dublin and Hong Kong in the following weeks.

We had the pleasure of hosting an enjoyable drinks event, welcoming both familiar and new faces in Hong Kong. With 51 years of operation in the City, we’ve built a wonderful network across the APAC region.

Our CEO, Denis Jackson joined the event having travelled from London. During his speech, Denis shared exciting updates on Law Debenture’s growth, insights from his recent visit to the United States, and the consistent positive feedback on our Corporate Secretarial Services. He also highlighted the impressive expansion of our team, which has tripled in size over the past few years, and introduced Chris McComb, our new Director of Strategic Engagement, who will be focusing on promoting our brand in Hong Kong and the wider APAC region.

A big thank you to our Hong Kong-based team (pictured) for being fantastic hosts: Chris McComb, Marc Cormack-Bissett, Judy Yu, Christy Leung, Yasmin Stubbs, Liza Chan, Wong Jenny, and Denise Tsoi. We were also delighted to have Head of Corporate Trust Eliot Solarz and Head of Business Development Suzy McIlveen (Walls) with us.

It was great to see so many familiar faces, and many new ones, last night at our annual late-summer drinks event for lawyers in private practice.

Each year we welcome peers from leading firms to join us for a relaxed evening, catching up with former colleagues and those usually on the other side of the table.

Our hosting team came from across our businesses: Corporate Secretarial Services, Corporate Trust, Pensions, Safecall, Service of Process and Structured Finance. Each of these businesses work closely with lawyers on a daily basis, providing an incredible range of services. This breadth meant we had a great mix of legal experts in the room catching up with one another.

We are so pleased to be hosting this same format in Manchester next week and in Hong Kong in October.

Our inaugural event saw us welcome 60 partners, counsels and associates from over 30 law firms. Attendees commented on how enjoyable it was to have the opportunity to network with other lawyers.

Thank you to all those who attended the event and encouraged as to continue to expand each year.
