Bank of Baroda (UK) Limited (the “Bank”) has completed its wind-down process. Current and Savings Accounts were closed on 12 January 2024, and Fixed Term Deposit Accounts were closed on 20 November 2024. The Bank previously issued notices to account holders advising them to make alternative arrangements for their funds. However, some account holders have not yet contacted the Bank.

On 12 January 2026, an amount equal to the unclaimed balances from these closed accounts has been transferred to The Law Debenture Trust Corporation p.l.c. (the “Trustee”) under the terms of a trust (the “Trust”).

The Trust has been established in accordance with UK legal and regulatory requirements and in consultation with the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This arrangement ensures that account holders’ funds remain secure and available for reclaim, even after the Bank’s closure. The Trustee is prohibited from using these funds for any other purpose and is required to release funds to former customers of the Bank who make a valid claim, subject to satisfactory completion of identity verification, anti-money laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) checks.

If you previously held an account with Bank of Baroda (UK) Limited and have not yet received repayment, please contact the Trustee by email at bobfinalreclaim@lawdeb.com or by telephone on+44 (0) 20 7606 5451 to initiate the reclaim process
