Following the temporary shutdown of Companies House’s WebFiling service on Friday, 13 March, we understand that you may have concerns about the security of your company information. Companies House has now confirmed that the issue was identified, resolved and the service fully restored.

We appreciate that incidents of this nature can understandably raise concerns, and we wanted to reassure you directly. At LawDeb, the security and accuracy of your corporate records remain our highest priority. We maintain strict and robust internal controls that ensure your filings and company information continue to be protected at all times. As part of our standard processes:

  • All filings undergo multi‑layer internal review before submission.
  • We routinely monitor Companies House filings for every entity we manage.
  • Only authorised team members can prepare or approve filings.
  • Full audit trails are maintained for every action.

Companies House has confirmed that there is no indication that any company data has been accessed or altered without authorisation. Their investigation remains ongoing, and we will continue to stay vigilant.

We are always in close contact with Companies House and we will monitor all updates received from them and keep you informed of any further developments.
