LawDeb appointed to TPT DB Superfund Trustee Board
TPT has appointed the board of independent trustees for its recently announced Defined Benefit (DB) superfund.
We are delighted that Rekha Owen, a trustee in our pensions business, has been appointed to the TPT Retirement Solutions Superfund Trustee Board, announced today.
Rekha shares: “It’s fantastic to see a new Superfund come to market, with a differentiated run-on strategy that offers real choice in this fledgling part of the pensions market. We expect Superfunds will increasingly provide a very realistic endgame strategy for schemes that are not in a position to adopt an insurance solution, providing members with the benefits of consolidation under a Trust based arrangement. I’m particularly thrilled to be working with TPT in relation to this Superfund, where members have the potential to receive a share of future surplus.
