Claire Barnes

I am a Trust Manager in the Corporate Trust department at Law Debenture. My career began at Law Debenture many years ago, and I was delighted to return 15 years later. Over the years, I have gained experience across investment banks as well as independent service providers.

I have been fortunate to hold a diverse range of roles throughout my career, covering products including trustee and agency transaction management, liability management agency, escrows, project finance, and a period working in corporate cash management. I have a particular interest in default and restructuring work and although challenging I get a great sense of satisfaction in helping transaction parties achieve positive outcomes for all stakeholders. Much of my day to day work involves liaising with clients on a BAU basis and supporting them throughout the life of a transaction.

In my spare time, I enjoy walking my dog, usually while listening to a podcast!
