Pars Purewal

I am the Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee and a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees of The Law Debenture Corporation plc, having been appointed to the Board on 16 December 2021.

After a career spanning more than thirty-five years, I retired as a senior partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in June 2019. My experience included being PwC’s UK Asset Management leader for ten years and finance partner for both asset and wealth management. I have previously chaired the Audit Committees of both Brewin Dolphin Holdings PLC and Federated Hermes International. As a Fellow of the ICAEW, I currently hold several key positions including Chairman of Finsbury Growth & Income Trust PLC and non-executive director of Royal London Mutual Insurance Limited, where I also serve as Chairman of Royal London Asset Management Holdings Limited.
