Steve Deverell-Smith

I am a Professional Trustee based in LawDeb's Manchester Office. I joined the team in 2025 bringing over 20 years of experience in the industry, advising sponsors and trustees of UK pension schemes.

I was previously Head of Employer Actuarial Services at First Actuarial, where I was the lead member of their run-on strategy and advisory lead on IPT selection, and I have also held roles in WTW, Barnett Waddingham and KPMG. 

LawDeb’s passion, insight and reputation drew me to the role, and I’m looking forward to working and collaborating with a talented team. We have exciting plans in place which will take the business forward and enable further growth for LawDeb Pensions.
