LawDeb Pension Trustees is delighted to announce the appointment of David Curtis to its team
08 March 2016
David joins LawDeb Pension Trustees to add to the strength of our trustee director team.
For the past 20 years David has been responsible for the development and implementation of pensions and benefits strategy at a number of companies – most recently at Standard Chartered Bank. Prior to this he acted as a consulting actuary to a wide range of clients.
David is respected for his strategic focus; his expertise in funding and investment management; and his abilities with regard to risk management. His extensive experience of managing key relationships with company management and key advisers together with his in-depth knowledge of all aspects of governance mean he will add to our ability to manage our clients’ pension scheme risk.
Prior to his role as Pensions & Benefits Group Head at Standard Chartered Bank, David was responsible for pensions at Alstom and Siemens UK. He started his career in pensions at Bacon & Woodrow – where he was a consulting actuary advising on all aspects of pension fund establishment, operation, accounting and funding.
Michael Chatterton, Managing Director of LawDeb Pension Trustees commented on David’s appointment by saying how pleased he was to welcome David:
David’s appointment is another example of our ability to hire knowledgeable people who are committed to optimising trustee board governance. He adds to our mix of experience and enthusiasm that is critical to our ability to manage the future of our clients’ pension schemes.
