Iain Hamilton

Associate Director

Iain is an Associate Director in LawDeb's Corporate Secretarial Services business with a particular focus on delivering Board and Committee governance and advisory services to clients within financial services and other regulated sectors.

Iain is a Senior Governance Professional and Company Secretary, with over 25 years’ experience within the banking, investment management, insurance, and regulated utilities environments in the UK, EMEA and US.

Prior to joining LawDeb, Iain held a variety of roles including that of Company Secretary, EMEA – Invesco; Company Secretary - AIB (UK and Northern Ireland); Senior Vice President & Group Deputy Secretary - PineBridge Investments; Head of Company Secretariat at Thames Water; and prior governance roles at Aviva, Cadbury Schweppes, NatWest, and 3i Group.

Iain is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute of the United Kingdom and Ireland.

Outside of work Iain is kept busy by his young son and daughter and, when time permits, is a voracious reader.
